Bituminous Base

Bituminous Base is a common mix for both state and commercial jobs.  This mix is generally used as a foundation layer beneath smoother/finer top lifts.  The mix is composed of a "base" rock mixture that contains enough fines to help bind and hold the lift against heavy traffic and weather.
